ICT ACTIVITY

The activity is for my project my e twinning friend.Students will be divided into internationally mixed groups of 3 or 5 (according to the partners involved in the project.)
Before teams come together with their partners, each student from a different country should determine what they would like to know about their peers related to their family life and school life.
Coordinator teacher will organize a forum discussion for students to discuss the questions that can be asked in the questionnaire.
Then students will use titanpad to bring all the questions together. One partner student can write the questions.
Afterwards, each student  in the team will shoot a video in which they will answer the questions in the questionnaire. When they finish this task ,they will send the videos to the second partner student to share it on twinspace.Their other friends who are not in the same team will evaluate each video by commenting on it on twinspace.
The final task is for the third partner student. The task is to bring all the videos together and they will present the video for the other teams to watch. If it is necessary, the student can edit some parts when he/ she is combining the video.
At the end of the activity, each team will have one video which has 3 students' work as a team.

Colloborative working and challenges

Colloboration can be achieved through social media, so answering and thinking about the following questions are important when we design a project.

module 2.3 Analyzing my teaching

What Can I improve?
From the posts that I can see I am a bit shy to use technology  in my class.I can say that if I am using a tool for the first time I feel myself really insecure because there may be some points that still need to be improved or discovered.
Therefore I should integrate more technology into my class like my collegues.I use kahoot mostly in class and my students really like it.
With the e twinning project , we learned to use canva, bitmoji , logomakr, padlet and mindmeister.
What would I like to try?
I would like to try voki .I saw most of my collegues created really nice things so when I find time ,the very first thing I will do is to learn voki.I searched for the forum webpage and facebook page,I learned new tools like symbaloo, quiziz, edmodo, befunky, pixiz, tagxedo
What am I not happy with?
It is crowded classes and lack of time .
Is there anything which is not working?
For the time being, I can say that making pbl into the core is the problem.Assessment is also anaother problem that occurs together with the first one.

The tweet above shows me that there are still things I have to learn. For my technological skills, what I need to improve is the use of  different tools like voki and pawtoon or edmodo. For my students I can try to use symbaloo, quiziz, edmodo.

I found the following projects helpful for me and my students

What is PBL?

PBL is project based learning.Instead of using the traditional methods in your lesson, with pbl you can create effective, interesting and creative teaching-learning environment.
Students will learn by doing and living in the atmosphere where teaching occurs. Therefore ,later they will remember more.

Five core elements of successful PBL learning

What is your experience with PBL? Why would you like to implement it in your classroom? Have you faced any difficulties in its implementation? If so, which of the 5 core elements were the most difficult to adapt?

I started to use it just a month ago with my students. It gives energy to the class and even the least interested student wanted to take part in the project. It is really great because you add technology to the lesson. When they see they can achieve something even better than their teacher, they become more motivated.
There are three problems I have faced so far. The first one is time. You cannot find enough time to study together with students because in my school the teachers don't want to participate that kind of activity. So unfortunately it is not core. That's why you cannot integrate the project into the lesson so you have to find a spare time to do it.Therefore , there comes the second problem .You cannot embed assesment throughout the project. The last problem is that sometimes students may not want to take part in such activities. When you force them, they do it involuntarily and the result may not be the one you expected or they can make the others work instead of themselves.

All in All,  I can say that it is worth trying and I am happy to do it.

What is e twinning?

Etwinning is a community for schools in Europe,it provides an excellent framework to get started with project-based learning in cooperation with classrooms across Europe. There you can share and colloborate with your partners and produce excellent works together. There is no race there.Everybody can learn from each other and in the end you can produce new things by combining your information.
  e twinning in 280
it means discovering new things ,learning from each other, enlarging your horizon by colloborating your colleagues. It is also great to learn new things and improve yourself.

I really like this tweet :) And completely agree with Damiano Franzosi
